Based out of Texas, Jacob Jimerson is a visual artist primarily working in clay media.
He makes both functional pottery and fine arts sculptures though his favorite works blur the line between conceptual high art and utilitarian objects. His work focuses on the intersection of human civilization and the physical environment. He has shown work online and at in-person shows in California, Texas, and Massachusetts. Most recently, he completed the 4 month Navasota Artist in Residency in Navasota Texas.
Jacob Jimerson was born in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana and transplanted to the Texas town of League City. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with two Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts and Physics.
